Gig Announcement

Hear ye, hear ye. I’ve got a gig booked for next month at the Passive Arts Center. Details below.

January 14th @ Carnivale De Sade

Location: Passive Arts Center

Time: Get there around 9pm.

Price: $10 cover.

Age(s): 18+ for entry, 21+ for drinking.

Carnivale De Sade is a special event, put on usually the first Friday of each month at the Passive Arts Center. The first Friday in January, however, there’s the big porn convention in Vegas and several of the people involved with CDS will be there – so they’re going for the second Friday. I think this promises to be a pretty good night, beyond just watching my goofy ass. If you’ll remember correctly, I went to the Passive Arts for "Brutal Arts Collective" (the former name of Carnivale De Sade) A Few Months Back and had a blast.

Joey Strange, a friend of mine putting this whole thing together, writes a few more details about the CDS night at the club on his blog. I’m quoting it below:

"We highly encourage the audience to play on the equipment through out the club..that is what it is there for. Please be respectful of people playing in a scene…it is for them to play and for you to watch and experience. There is a dress code now..no blue jeans and t-shirts. NOTHING FROM THE GAP WILL BE TOLERATED. I just hate the gap. This is a BD/SM, Body Mod. club. Doors open at 9pm-2am and is a measely $10, full bar for people with ID, 18 and over. 10914 S. La CIenega Blvd. Inglewood, Ca. 91304. This is also listed in the evnts section of BME. Hope to see you there."

Finally. I’ve got a gig in front of MY PEOPLE. Freaks. I can finally do some of my long-awaited goth material. Peter Steele impressions. Comedy about Ozzy. Ohhh.. who knows what I’ll do. I’m still getting details about how much time they’re giving me – so I’ll keep you all posted. I just wanted to put the word out that this gig is confirmed so you can start planning a night out almost a month from now :)
