Oh, yeah… one more thing

I forgot to mention a woman I think needs mentioning. Sinead O’ Connor. Yeah, you read that right. I like Sinead. Lemme guess.. you think she’s some butch, over-zealous, pope-bashing, shaved-head lesbian psycho. Yeah, well she doesn’t like you either. Face it: the only thing you really know about her is that she got famous from crying in a video with a shaved head. Oh.. boo-fuckin’-hoo. She’s amazing. She doesn’t hate men, either. I’ll even go so far to say that you’d be amazed how beautiful her music is. Take a listen to her song "Troy" some day — then come talk to me.

For those of you who think she hates men, I’ve got a quote for you. She said in an interview one time "I have no problem with men. In fact, my biggest inspirations and teachers in life have been men. I love men really. It’s just that I don’t always prefer sex with men. I think the big problem is that men are too hard on themselves. Like, if you, as a woman, don’t want to have sex with them - they feel they’re worthless. I think men have a LOT more to offer than just sex, but somehow men tend to disagree with me. Well.. men.. you’re worth more to me than just a roll in the hay. And I love you for that".

That quote will always amuse me. I definitely fell into the category of men she was talking about. We are pretty dumb in that sense. I generally feel pretty useless if someone doesn’t wanna fuck me. But, that’s what makes us men silly. I don’t think men are void of playful knocks on our psyches.. so I fully support intelligent remarks against men. Just as I do with women. EQUAL motherfuckers. EQUAL is the key word here.
