More Patton Loving..
As if seeing Tomahawk’s FIRST SHOW EVER on Friday and then MEETING him after the show wasn’t enough…..
My weekend mets it’s end at yet another Tomahawk show, this time in Hollywood - at the Roxy. So, out of the 4 shows they’ve played (if you count San Diego in about an hour) I’ve seen half of their entire on-stage life ;)
Champagne, Mike, Nate, Ricky, Celina and I went last night and documented the occassion with some pictures. You may have gotten wind of my site being all but thrown in the trash, but there’s news for you. I mentioned that I would be putting together megasite for all things fucking cool, to be called rockthefuckinhouse.net (or rockthefrigginhouse.com for the mainstream folks - hate to lose visitors, ya know) Well, after much ordeal with switching between 3 different ISP’s, I’ve finally landed with prohosters.com - I figure if they can handle the bandwidth load that stile requires, they can handle anything I can dish out.
So, while the DNS info prolly won’t be working until at least mid-week, you can all see the fruit of our labors over this past weekend here. Needless to say, there’s not much there, but hell - 20+ exclusive pics of Mike Patton in his newest project should keep you at bay until I start working on some serious content. Then again, I don’t plan to fully launch rockthefrigginhouse.com until sometime in 2k2.
In other news… My mother called me and e-mailed me twice on my b-day (Oct. 29th for those who missed it) along with my step-dad and sent me a nice little gift in the mail. My father on the other hand didn’t call, write, e-mail, send out a card… nothing. Usually he at least thinks about me long enough in October to remember to send me $20 (I’m being 100% serious here) within at least a week of my b-day. Not this year.
But, hey…. I’ve got a nice little circle of friends and we’re all closer than ever before thanx to Patton — we bonded in the sweat and screams of the Roxy…
great motherfuckin times. Actually, Friday was the greatest day of my life. Therefore, adding in Sunday - this weekend was the greatest weekend of my life.
