How to Turn Future Adults Into Legal Drug Addicts

Saw this today, while refilling my vicodin prescription:

The lady behind the counter asked me why I took a picture of their poster.
The following conversation ensued:

Me: "Well… for the first time in history - drug companies advertise directly to the consumer, as opposed to just the medical industry professionals. As consumers, we’re being asked to tell OUR doctors about drugs, when it should be the other way around. Now, I see that they’re trying to really maximize the drug potential of children. Kids hate taking medicine b/c it always tastes bad, as it should - it’s medicine. But, here you are offering up all these multitude of flavors for the kids to consume, so they’ll think nicely of medicine and maybe even look forward to taking their drugs. I just have to document this, because it’s going to have negative effects"

Her:"Umm…. yeah, well… kids shouldn’t have to go through tasting horrible medicine in order to get well, right?"

Me: "That’s hardly an issue. It’s 5 seconds of annoyance. They need that."

Her: "Here’s your prescription. Enjoy it" *giggles*

Me: "Don’t worry - I’ll just sell it to friends of mine that need a quicker way to get fucked up one night than just alcohol alone."
