The Puppy
So I went to see the greatest industrial band of all time on Saturday night.
Skinny Puppy, that is.
Goddamn they were fucking amazing. For the entire first song ("Downsizer" from their latest album The Greater Wrong of the Right), OhGr wasn’t even on-stage. Having never seen the dude in person, I assumed he was hiding somewhere [...]
Fuck it. I quit.
Sometime around Friday night/Saturday morning, I noticed a little itching in my throat. I didn’t think much of it - figured, like always, if I just smoke - it’ll go away. Yes, that’s how I deal with my health problems.
Sunday night rolls around now my throat really fuckin’ hurts. It’s like there’s this huge lump [...]
21 Tips For a Better Life
To the fanfare of a small group of people, I ticked the miles of life up one more notch to 26 on October 29, 2004. Right around my birthday, and obviously just in time for all of these end-of-year festivities and New Year’s, I get nostalgic about life and I try to think over what I’ve learned. Not just throughout this past year, but throughout my life in general. Truly with age comes wisdom, and I was fortunate to have learned at a fairly young age that listening to one’s elders (even if “elder” is by a physical calendar year, but their life experience more than compensates) is one of the best things one can do for one’s own mental growth.
It is in that vein that I present the 20 most important things I’ve either learned throughout my life, or have been told enough times that I take it as something to remember for the future. These are in no particular order, however. For what is of utmost value to one might not be to another. That’s not going to stop me from pointing out which have been of most importance to me, as you might expect.
Thank fuck-ass Christ
TWO DOWN, TOO MANY MORE TO GO.
But hey, we lost the lightning rod. Fuck yes.
ASHCROFT RESIGNS!
Rev. Mitcz’s FOF #10
Okay, so I’m a little late. Sorry. I was busy, okay? I did, however, write a few new articles the last few days so I think it makes up for it.
Anywho.. while I don’t have much to Fuck-Off this week, the few things I have are pretty fuckin’ sincere. I don’t know how Bob missed them, but I’ll let that slide for now.
In Response : More About Dr. Phil
The first real angry article I posted on this site, way back in April of 2003, was my MF Missile against Dr. Phil. Since then, the motherfucker hasn’t wavered a great deal in popularity, no one has exposed on a wide-scale any of his lies, he hasn’t been wrapped up in any scandals and his show is still somewhat popular. Those of us who aren’t blindly led towards all things Opera have stayed all-the-wiser and avoided the Phil-madness, however the population at large of this ever-worsening country seems to still be in a stasis about his bullshit.
I received an interesting comment on my post about Dr. Phil from a man named “Joe” from Chicago. I e-mailed him to inquire further about his disdain for Dr. Phil, hoping to elicit further response. What I got in return was a very well-worded, thorough criticism of the man and his methods. I present the text of that e-mail below for further discussion.
Design Issues Part 1 : Browsers and Related Design Ethics
For the first entry of the newest AMF category (DesignMF), I’m starting a mini-series of article about issues that one must deal with when designing (whether it be for print, the web, or other mixed media). For this first segment (dedicated to Web Design this time), I want to tackle what I consider the biggest Web Design issue to date - Browsers, and more specifically - their incompatibilities and what to do about them.
As of this writing, their are about 5 major browsers (not including their version numbers). These include Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, Mozilla’s FireFox, Netscape, Opera and for the Mac-only crowd, Apple’s Safari. Beyond that, their are several browsers based on Mozilla’s code, some based on the “KHTML” rendering engine (as used in Safari, for instance) , text-based browsers, and about million other rarely-ever-used browsers. This still doesn’t include the differences amongst various Operating Systems, and the differences between the various versions of each of the aforementioned browsers. What’s a Web Designer to do?
Quick Album Reviews
As many of you may know, I’ve been going music-nuts lately. I’ve probably gotten about 30-40 new albums in the last 2 months alone. I’ve also managed to "acquire" some pre-release albums. So, I’m going to quickly review some of the CDs I’ve picked up recently that are new, or will be coming out soon.

Kill me.
Time to start checkin’ real estate in Canada. I wonder how their porn industry is.
I found a hero, though. While I toil away and rack my brain trying to understand the sheer mass idiocy of this worthless pile of shit country saying "yay! we love being lied to and shit on!" - one man decided [...]
You people sicken me.
Apparently, the people of this country can be sent off to war, lied to, kicked around, taxed, bought, sold, beat-up, embarrassed, ruined globally, polluted, and fucked-over for 4 years and like good political massochists will continue to vote for a totalitarian chimp who speaks worse english than 3rd graders with stuttering problems.
My unfortunate, dismal prediction:
Bush [...]
