The Hilton Hack
There’s gonna be some serious repercussions of this. If you own T-Mobile stock, my guess is SELL.
Paris cellphone hacking yields celebs’ secrets
By Inside Track
Monday, February 21, 2005Private telephone numbers of celebrities have been unleashed on the Internet after an apparent hacking into Paris Hilton’s cellphone, according to the Drudge Report.
The FBI has opened an investigation into the hack, a government source told the Web site.
Drudge, claiming it was learning exclusively about the hacking, also reported it has confirmed the authenticity of many of the unlisted and super-secret numbers - which include private phone numbers and e-mail addresses of Eminem, Lindsay Lohan, Christina Aguilera, Andy Roddick, Ashlee Simpson, Victoria Gotti, Vin Diesel and Anna Kournikova.
One unidentified celebrity reached yesterday morning expressed total outrage at the heirhead.
“I gave her my number after we met in Miami; I did not know she (expletive) kept it on her cellphone!” the star complained to Drudge.
A Web site that posted the digits over the weekend also splashed Hilton’s private notes, listed by date, and even listed her hotel and airline preferences
If you’re the voyeuristic type (and really, who isn’t?) you can view the full contents of the hack at THIS ADDRESS. Note: The links to the actual content are in the top frame. I don’t know how long this sucker’s gonna be available online, though, so you best go look quick. If one were so inclined, one could probably use a downloader program to sniff out all the content linked from that server and save it locally. But, ya know, I’m jus’ sayin’
