I'm a genius. But really fucking lazy.

So, a few years ago, I sat down with my then girlfriend and my friend Mike and said "wouldn’t it be cool…. if you could get a pendant, put your partner’s blood in it, and wear it all the time? Ya know, jewelry that contained their blood in a vial. Wouldn’t that kick ass?"

We sat down, and I explained some more..
The pendant/vial would have to be vacuum-sealed. But, thin. Cause no one wants to wear a big thick-ass vial and if you wanted to wear it under your shirt to not attract TOO much attention, you could do it easily if the pendant was thin and unobtrusive.

I figured that the way to go would be to send people a "kit" to make the blood for the vial themselves. Just a little box of sharp needles, that would safely and near-painlessly extract the blood for the pendant. It would require sending it back to us in some sealed container, which again we would provide, and we would make the pendant. Optionally, we could send out some kit that would enable them to easily put the whole thing together themselves - if the technology was worked out that way, of which we weren’t quite sure.

A few times, I tossed this idea around, to medical people who knew shit about blood and what-not. Personally, I thought this was a great idea, many people said "well… it’s kinda cool, but.. who would do that?" or "what about the safety concerns?" and any number of other things. Ultimately, I neglected to pursue the idea as I should have.

Today, I’m cruising through random links online and what do I find?

Fuck. Did they steal the idea from me? Or are we just similar geniuses? I’m pretty fuckin’ pissed about that. Damnit. Here I am, sittin’ in a porno office, working my ass off for bullshit while I could’ve been doing… that idea. Fuck fuck fuck.
