finally, some GOOD news.
As my days and weeks grew just shittier and shittier, and every bit of good news was later trumped by fuck-all shit news (even beyond what I’ve written here, MORE shit got worse from there if you can believe it) - something GOOD happened today. ‘Bout fuckin’ time.
The apartment I’d set my sights on earlier [...]
Random Thought
I’m not sayin’ I’m gay or anything, but….
I think if i were a bunny, I’d try to fuck a sleeping cheetah. And, if he woke up - I’d just make the cute bunny face when he turned around because…
c’mon, how can you get angry at a cute little bunny face?
And then I’d go back to [...]
Fucking Your Mother In Her Ass : My Pro-Drug (Part 1)
In a previous article about smoking, I more than touched-on some of the Anti-drug commercials, drugs themselves, the ridiculous lies told about drugs and a number of other things. Since that rant was sort of folded into the smoking rant, and lost so far inside the article that few people will read it, I’ve decided to reheat it and expound a bit more. As I’ve got a lot to say on the subject - this will likely be a multi-part article. Tonight, I begin the first part, specifically related to the anti-drug commercials and their horseshit lies.
Song of the Week #5
This song is TRULY the song of the week. It’s been the one I keep running back to this week, and I’ve listened to an almost ridiculous amount while driving around in my car. So, see? This is what the SotW is all about.
From the band muse comes their song "Unintended".
This is from what I [...]
Looking into another life
When bored at work, I do a fair amount of reading online. Keeping up on nerdtastic trends and the latest design breakthroughs. Sometimes, I just like to read from other designers who are just as much (if not more) pissed off about being turned from respected professionals to mere monkeys by idiotic clients on an [...]
10 Perks of Working In Porn
I bitch about my job a lot. But, just a few minutes ago, while discussing with a friend of mine the goings-on of this office in comparison to theirs, I realized there were some perks to this kind of job that you’ll likely not find anywhere else. I decided I’d write out some of them [...]
Auditory Overload
If you’re at all curious, I found a program (available for Windows & Mac - download it here) that will export your entire iTunes playlist to a webpage. A hefty webpage, at that. I don’t know why they used inline CSS to style the table, seems like a header-based (or external) CSS file would’ve brought [...]
On McDonald’s, Obesity and Lawsuits
This is an increasingly “hot” issue, one that has reared its head several times over the last few years and has come up yet again in recent news. The issue I’m referring to is the blame being put on McDonald’s (et. al.) for “making people obese”. One might think, given my stance on generally blaming stupid people for their own stupidity, that I would stand behind McDonald’s and the initial court ruling on this one. Au Contraire. I present to you an alternate view on this situation, in an attempt to sway your opinion. That’s just what I like to do.
Shitty Presidents Take Appropriate Ground
From the "why didn’t I think of that?" files..
Police Hunt Poo Protesters
Police in Germany are hunting pranksters who have been sticking miniature US flags into piles of dog poo in public parks. Josef Oettl, parks administrator for Bayreuth, said: "This has been going on for about a year now, and there must be 2,000 to [...]
Song of the Week #4
Back by apparently very popular request, I’m actually doing TWO Songs of the Week here. These are more to introduce to another wonderful musician more than it is to say "this song is just amazing!". They’re both very good songs, but it’s more about the artist behind them.
The first song is called "Lifeboat" by a [...]
